Continuity Codex

Very much inspired by thornbirch's World State Codex Overhaul, Continuity Codex edits further in-game texts to reflect choices from previous games, while trying to preserve the tone and content of the existing codex as much as possible.

Originally, I envisioned a Whole bunch of different big edits in a massive download, the full DA Keep experience.

It turned out that Windows has a file path character limit that ended the folder labyrinth of my dreams... but it also turned out that text edit mods for Veilguard play incredibly nice with each other! You can easily have checks notes eight or nine mods affecting codex texts installed without running into conflicts.

Each module of Continuity Codex affects a different set of codex entries (or missives or notes), both compatible with each other AND with other mods that edit these texts. As a result, this mod was designed to be used in tandem with World State Codex Overhaul and doesn't affect most of texts edited by that mod (with one exception). When installing (with Frosty Mod Manager, as one does), click through the folder corresponding to the choice you're importing until you reach the file at the end of the folder chain. Install that one!

Addtionally, if you're using another mod that affects a codex entry included in one of these mods but want changes from both mods, it can still work as long as you pay attention to load order! For example, if you're using thornbirch's World State Codex Overhaul (which you should, it's one of my faves) but want to use Continuity Codex's Morrigan module (both affect "From Irelin's Journal: Who's This Morrigan?"), make sure that Continuity Codex- Morrigan is lower on your applied mods list than World State Codex Overhaul. This will ensure that you get the Continuity Codex version of Irelin's thoughts on Morrigan, while keeping the rest of the changes from World State Codex Overhaul intact. On the other hand, if you're using a mod like beckabooo's Iron Bull Codex Entry Overhaul, make sure it's lower in applied mods list so it can overwrite the smaller changes included in Continuity Codex. I've tested both of these cases, so I'm sure they work!
