Carastes Double-Hat Edit - Appearance Edit

The Carastes Double-Hat is one of my favorite helms in the game. This my own personal edit of the hats that removes the head sock and the ear pieces on them.

If you're looking to remove the head sock on all headwear, I really recommend downloading the Head Sock Begone mod by Xynyxx for your gameplay (it's one of my favorite mods!).

Version 1. 1

• Fixed the MeshVariationDb files.

INSTALLATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Requires wavebend's Frosty Mod Manager. You can find the installation tutorial here.

Make sure to put this mod under any recolor mods in the load order. Otherwise those recolors will override the textures that keeps the ear pieces invisible.

RECOLORING GUIDE FOR MODDERS

If anyone would like to make a recolor that will work with this mod, feel free to do so since I don't plan on making them myself. I will provide you the UV map of the hat that I used to work on this mod under the Miscellaneous Files. Keep the empty area transparent, so that only the hat will appear in the game. Here's the name of the BCLR files of all the Carastes Double-Hat in the game:

a_HLM_CRW_Mage_I_01_BCLR

a_HLM_DAL_Mage_I_01_BCLR

a_HLM_GRE_Mage_I_01_BCLR

a_HLM_LOF_Mage_I_01_BCLR

a_HLM_MRW_Mage_I_01_BCLR

a_HLM_SDG_Mage_I_01_BCLR

The recolor should be loaded after the main mod file for it to show up in the game.

Thank you Joell560 for providing the tutorial for this mod!

I hope you enjoy the mod!
