Return of Anders' Fox's Pendant

In Awakening, Anders started with a unique amulet: the Fox's Pendant, which he received for saving a Bann's life. This mod recreates it in DA2 and makes it part of Anders' starting equipment.

Because of how DA2 handles item scaling, and because DA2's accessories are balanced to hardly ever increase attributes by more than 2, giving the pendant the exact same stats it had in Awakening would have made it quite overpowered for a piece of starting gear. Instead, I've given it new stats while retaining its bonuses to willpower and healing received. It will also improve as you gain levels.

This mod is compatible with everything. However, IF you have another mod that modifies gen00fl_anders.utc, Anders will not have the pendant equipped when you first get him. If this is the case, that's fine: just open the console (the DA Wiki has a guide if you don't know how), and type "runscript zz_give_fp" (without quotes) to give yourself the pendant. If another mod makes changes to gen00fl_anders.utc, you can safely delete gen00fl_anders.utc from this mod's folder and just use the console to get the pendant.

The above also applies if you install this mod on an existing save that has already entered Darktown in Act 1, because Anders' starting equipment is determined when he's first loaded, not when he's actually recruited. If this is the case, just use the script as instructed above to give Anders the pendant. Happily, the pendant will automatically scale to your level even if added by the script, so the pendant will still have leveled-up stats just as if you'd had it from the beginning.

+10% to healing received

Fox's Pendant max stats:

+2 willpower

+17% to healing received

Installation

Extract the folder "Fox's Pendant" to your override folder at Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age 2\packages\core\override

Uninstallation

Delete the folder "Fox's Pendant" from your override folder.
