Dragon Age 2 Weapon Replacer

DESCRIPTION

Not much to say about this one, I think the images speak for themselves. This replaces every longsword, greatsword and dagger in the base game with new models, some created by Adonnay and others ported from The Witcher 2 by makara5656. This affects NPC weapons as well, not just the ones used by the party.

If any of the models are not to your liking, you can change them back to the defaults or replace them with something else. I'd recommend following Adonnay's mesh replacement guide which can be found here, in the first file named Additional Meshes v0_1. I also gave an explanation on how to do it in the stickied comment.

Update 1. 1: Added an optional file that I also made for my own use, which replaces 2 shield models that I really dislike with other vanilla shields.

Update 1. 2: Added an optional file that replaces The Hawke's Key dagger, greatsword and longsword.

NOTE!

- There will be occasional inconsistencies during cutscenes, as cutscene weapons sometimes use different models, but this issue is rare.

INSTALLATION

Simply drop it into your override folder (...\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age 2\packages\core\override)
