** DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES **

This mod contains three different elements...

Pieces of Eight - this modifies lootable chests from the prologue badlands to Hawke's mansion. Each chest contains items intended for a specific companion, although you are free to use the items as you wish of course. The chests are conveniently located in areas you must visit during that companion's first intro/personal quest. (Modders can unpack, customize and repack for themselves if they wish.) See comments for more details.

Dead Man's Chest - this adds a lootable corpse (dead refugee) right at the very beginning of the prologue badlands that contains all the prologue (Act 0) items. I have left this as a bare file for easy modder customization. See comments for more details.

Death of a Templar - this turns Wesley from a screaming coward into a casual observer. Makes playing the badlands a lot less annoying.

Added Daggers of Penelope. Uses a lost & forgotten dagger texture from MotA. One melee (Coraline) dagger and one throwing (Shanleigh) dagger. Dagger in the right hand determines attack method. Spawn in use runscript penelope

Added the Dagger of the Four Winds. The true Dagger of the Four Winds textured as the devs intended, from MotA. Also includes one melee and one throwing dagger for your attack preference. Spawn with runscript rl_four_winds

Added Lirene's Fereldan Imports in Lowtown. Since your mom, Leandra, works there she can give you her employee discount. Items will be bought and sold at fair market value. No markups or markdowns.

Added the Fair Emporium. The Black Emporium now works the same as Lirene's. Xenon will buy/sell at fair market value.

Installation path:

<...>Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age 2/packages/core/override

Installation instructions:

Just drop the file(s) into your override folder.

Uninstall instructions:

Remove the file(s) you no longer want.

Known issues:

Chests locked by the game are still locked in this mod. So for those either have a rogue in your party or use the wonderful Lock Bash mod. If attribute/level/character requirements are getting in your way use the modular Item Restrictions Removed mod.

Known conflicts:

None. A potential conflict may occur if this mod and another mod changes the contents of the same chest. I have only seen this once and in that occurrence the items from both mods were added to the chest.
