- Elves are Dragon Age 2 (re-texture/body-swap) mod which changes how DA2 M/F Elves look in game.
- Bioware \"new\" take on Elves in DA2 I personally don\'t like but unfortunately, as it is, we are stuck with their \"new/improved\" faces which can not be changed or modded much but at least it is still possible to change how they are dressed. Elves in my mod are made to look more as traditional / dignified and serious (lore) Elves and less as (Biowares) bare-footed and dumb looking / idiot school-kids. More interesting and much nicer (armors / clothes) models were chosen and used together with more advanced (model) textures to make them unique (different from in-game human look and their for humans made attires). Consequently, they are now much more logical, easier to eye and closer to traditional look (mythical) Elves are supposed to have.
- Ambient Series contains five big mods Kirkwall, Commoners, Elves, Villains and Qunari. All these mods are (visually) lore friendly and stylistically related (matched) to my other mods Anders, Bethany, Carver, Isabella, Fenris, Merrill, Varick, Black Mages Robes, Templars, Knight, Real Champion (etc) and ultimately to my Weapons mega-mod. They are all building-blocks / integral parts of my DA2 better game-play project - major overhaul of primary (in) game-lightness / game-play ambiance. So take note of them all as nothing similar (quality n scope/scale) exist anywhere else! Try them (all) together and you\'ll definitely have brand new - much better looking game and more exciting game-world!
- Last and final addition to Series - Kirkwall is the most important of them all as it is made to be, beside many other (important) things, definite and seamless bridge in-between Bioware in-game (lighter) and mine (darker) item (re) textures.
- To install you need to navigate to your BioWare game folder in Your Documents \\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2 and drag n drop / copy - paste my Dragon Age 2 (mod) file folder there. Allow overwrite. That is all you need to do.
- If you don\'t like this new look, simply delete / remove Dalls_Elves.erf file from BioWare\\Dragon Age 2\\packages\\core\\override\\ and original look will be restored to your game.
- Bugs/conflicts: none known
- Note on v2. 1: Beside some overall (texture) improvements Elf female \"nude\" outfit (new re-texture of Bioware female swimming suit) have been added to this pack as well as new/better looking outfit (model without textures) for (mages chief) Orsino. Improved textures (for Orsino\'s new robe-outfit) can be found in my Commoners mod.
- Note on v2. 2: As this (technical) update follows closely my previous one only one really new armor have been added to it but real reason for it is switch of Elves mod to real HD (High Resolution). Expect (with it in place) finer / crispier contour detail and much better overall definition of all included armors / clothes. Otherwise ve
