- Black Mages Robes are Dragon Age 2 (model re-texture) mod which changes how one (type) of popular mages (M/F) robe/s look.
- If interested in seeing matching black hoods (on walk-around mages) or using them for your character use / install my optional Dalls_Black_Mages_Robes_Hood but know that these particular hoods are included as standard in my (Ambient Series) Commoners mod! Use (only) one!
- To install navigate to your BioWare game folder - one in Your Documents \\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2 and drag n drop / copy - paste my Dragon Age 2 (mod) folder there. Allow overwrite. That is all you need to do.
- If you don\'t like this new look, simply delete / remove Dalls_Black_Mages_Robes.erf file from BioWare\\Dragon Age 2\\packages\\core\\override\\ and original look of this item will be restored to your game.
- Bugs/conflicts: none known
- Note on v1. 4: New version which for the first time makes (for real) all robes of this type black n without any shine on fabric. v1. 3 did it up to point but with silk - like shine while this one makes them (as by me intended) really mat black (with still shiny gold trimmings). This change includes, finally, infamous Bioware Apostate robes which were as far as I am concerned real pain.
- Note on v1. 5: New High Resolution (HD) version with more detail and better (metal) shine. Uninstall / remove v1. 4 manually (if you have it) as this version will not overwrite it!
- Note on v2. 0: Major (Technical Fix) update - must have for LCD/TFT (monitors) users! All brand new (model) textures with correct Colour Profiles! I\'ve had them all looking like this since the beginning but unfortunately, you were getting instead something else (colour / gamma) flawed. Sorry for that but lay blame on crap technology rather then me as culprit was my faulty (monitor colour profile) screen calibration tool.
