The gauntlets for the vanilla Dragon Age: Origins templar armour have an entirely different tiering and material than the chest piece and helmets. This is especially noticeable in the early part of the game, where the templars have super-shiny gauntlets that don't match their chests.
I changed the templar gloves to have the same tier set (All Metals) and starting material (Iron) as the chest piece.
While I was at it, I also assigned a vanilla model to the invisible templar boots (Massive A) and gave them the same All Metals/Iron tiering and material.
I did not touch the stats for either the gauntlets or the boots.
To install, place the tsm_templar_fixes folder as with any override; the usual location is Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override.
Known Issues:
Must be installed prior to entering a map for the first time.
As there are no combatant templars very early in the game, I don't believe these changes will cause any balance issues... Any templar foes met later will get a small boost to armour by virtue of actually having boots, though.
