Zevran Arainai may be a Crow, but there's no reason he shouldn't dress like a Squirrel.

This is a simple override that changes his starting gear from leather armour, to the Iorveth/Scoia'tael armour from The Witcher 2.

Installation

Place the zevran_starting_gear folder in /My Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/packages/core/override folder. (Note that both UTC files are needed. One governs his equipment during the initial encounter/battle, the other sets his post-recruitment gear.)

This mod must be installed prior to the Warden entering the ambush area, or Zevran will appear in his normal armour.

Delete the zevran_starting_gear folder.

If The Witcher 2 DAO is not installed, and these files are, Zevran will be nekkid when you meet him. (Do not be tempted...)

Zevran will appear in his regular leather armour during the pre-rendered introductory cutscene with Loghain and Howe.

The skin tint on his upper chest (just below the neck seam) may not render properly during the interrogation. Saving and reloading should correct the appearance, as will removing and re-equipping the armour. (This issue occurs even with no body texture mods installed.)
