The base game potion cooldown for both DAO and DAA is 5 sec, for all grades of potions, which pretty much allows for

constant spamming of consumables, which makes the game too easy, in my opinion.

I found the cooldown adjustments from tinman's Improved Potions (8/9/10/11 for health pots, 10/11/12/13 for lyrium pots)

to be an improvement, but since I don't use Combat Tweaks, I can't use that mod's shared cooldowns, and so I wanted

something that further slowed the consumption of potions. And I also wanted to apply similar conditions for Awakening.

My modified GDA for DAO sets the potion cooldowns at

10/12/15/20 for health potions (Lesser Health Poultice @ 10, Potent Health Poutice @ 20), and

10/12/15/20 for lyrium potions (Lesser Lyrium Potion  @ 10, Potent Lyrium Potion  @ 20).

The edited GDA for DAA sets the cooldowns at

22/25 for health potions (Superb @ 22, Master @ 25),

22/25 for lyrium potions (Superb @ 22, Master @ 25), and

10/12/15/20/22/25 for stamina potions (Lesser Stamina Draughts @ 10, Master Stamina Draught @ 25).

The cooldowns for the 'Ethereal' (Fade only) versions of the potions have been changed to 20 seconds. (Vanilla cooldown was 5 secs.)

Lastly, I've also included an optional adjusted GDA for the cooldowns of the DAO stamina pots added by Improved Potions,

which were 10/11/12/13. My GDA sets the cooldowns at 10/12/15/20.

To Install:

Place the zz_tsm_potion_cooldowns_DAO_DAA folder in the game's manual override folder (i.e. \Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override).

Any unwanted or unneeded files can be omitted!

abi_gxa_cooldown_tsm.gda > Awakening

abi_stam_cooldown_tsm.gda > if using Improved Potions only
