The River Dane Set of Loghain Mac Tir

Armour: 

River Dane Armor (chestpiece, gloves, boots)

Loghain's appearance isn't consistent in the vanilla game. At Ostagar, he uses a Heavy Plate Armor, only to switch to the Armor of River Dane later. gioveb came up with a good idea how to deal with this. The inspiration can be seen in the Images section.

The River Dane armour has been converted to the more detailed Heavy Plate, which creates a very lore-friendly appearance for Mac Tir. At Ostagar, he uses the Iron version of it, and later the Silverite one, but only the material changes - the armour looks the same, as to keep consistency.

Also, a bugfix. The English description of the armour (identical for the three parts of it) seemed to display a bugged apostrophe - "(...)synonymous with Ferelden's(...)". A rare bug, I've only seen it once before - in the Leliana's Seeker Circle description.

Sword:

Patriot (longsword)

In vanilla, Loghain uses a basic longsword. Something needed to be done about it. We present you with a beautiful, custom sword - Patriot. The sword is a practical and sturdy weapon, a soldier's arm. With a unique description, the sword has a bonus +2 to damage, an example of Mac Tir's care in maintaining his personal weapon's quality.

Shield:

Loghain's Shield (targe shield)

At least, Loghain has a unique shield in the game. But it's not very unique in design - its model is shared with e.g. the Shield of Highever, only with he heraldry swapped from Cousland to Gwaren. The item isn't just some shield - it was given to Loghain by King Maric Theirin as a gift, when the former was named the Teyrn of Gwaren. A shield with such history deserves an extra look - and gioveb saw to it. The item has been converted from a kite shield to large round (targe) and displays a wonderful depiction of the Gwaren heraldry.

Item set:

Equipping Patriot and Loghain's Shield together provides a set bonus: -15% to Fatigue and +5 to missile deflection.

Item variation used: Patriot - longswords, ID 250. Loghain's Shield - large round, ID 250

The optional file allows the items to appear in the inventory by using the console command: runscript give_riverdane

And do not worry about duplicates if you use the "Testing" folder - the game's going to load the .uti from it. They are identical items, only with no character restriction to Loghain. Removing the "Testing" folder will revert the mod to use the lore-friendly .uti files, which restrict the whole set (armour and weapons) to Mac Tir.
