The Broken City (Reupload)

To clarify if it's not obvious already: I'M NOT THE CREATOR OF THIS MOD - All credit goes to Mengtzu. Much gratitude for giving me permission to reupload this mod. Furthermore, thanks to the one who shared the DL link which made this upload possible!

Installation:

1. Extract the zip file, once extracted you'll find 'mengtzu_fof_bc.dazip' inside

2. Put the dazip through the daupdater

If you don't know how to find the daupdater:

1. Go to your DAO game directory

2. The daupdater.exe should be in the bin_ship folder

3. Open it, and click 'Select DAZIPs'

4. Drag mengtzu_fof_bc.dazip into the Content Updater window

5. Click 'Install Selected'

Alternatively, I highly recommend using the mod manager to download any mod which you can find here.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This module is an add-on to Fragments of Ferelden. You must have that module installed to play.

Accessing the Broken City:

- You may journey to the Broken City by loading a Fragments of Ferelden save (or playing a fresh character through) and then speaking with Miera in the Epilogue.

- If you are unable or unwilling to load a Fragments save, you may use "runscript bc_skip_fragments" at the console to go straight to the Broken City. This does not set any story flags.

Important tips:

- Use health poultices aggressively. There will be no shortage and the bosses hit HARD.

- The module is tuned to be challenging on Normal. If you are not confident of your skills or do not enjoy puzzle-style encounters, I strongly suggest you drop to Easy.

- Save often. All the time. Any time anything good happens.

- Free respecs are available from the raven Werikk near Ambassador Artemisia.

Known Issues:

- Some players with combat-altering mods report compatibility issues. I strongly suggest disabling them from the Downloadable Content menu in-game while you're playing Fragments/Broken City, then re-enable them afterwards.

- There is a situation when using the ultimate Dharma rep bonus to romance someone unlikely that other characters should comment on and don't. You shouldn't be dithering around talking to other people when you should be running to your true love!

- If you experience CTD when entering Dharma or
