📋 About This Mod

Update 1/18/11 New morph - short, light brown hair, tweeked the eye shape, increased the jaw/chin, darker skin tone. Uses PT\'s Vibrant colors: http://dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=153 Update 11/24/10 I uploaded a morph of Gilmore with the darker hair, but with the lighter green eyes, per request. I also tweeked the chin a little on all of the files - I thought it looked a little too high before. Update 11/17/10: Added the morph with his ginger hair. A Gilmore morph that changes him up a little, It also improves the position of his teeth so that it doesn\'t look like his teeth are falling out of his head when you talk to him. If you are using the Ser Gilmore mod, you may find my NPC Portrait Changer file useful: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1700 The Gilmore mod gives him the default character portrait which has a black backround. The NPC Portrait mod will give him the yellowish-brown backround. See file for more details. Uses PT Vibrant Colors

Improves the position of his teeth to prevent the 'falling out' look during dialogue.
Companion-specific cosmetic change, no gameplay effects.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Niche fix for a common complaint about Gilmore's teeth—370 endorsements show it's appreciated.
  • Lightweight and focused, does exactly what it says without extra bloat.
  • Easy to install and remove, perfect for players who just want a quick visual tweak.

⚠️ Cons

  • Only affects Gilmore, so if you're not using him, it's pointless.
  • Old mod (last updated 2011) might have compatibility issues with newer game versions or other mods.
  • Cosmetic only—no gameplay changes, so if you want more from a companion mod, look elsewhere.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Dragon Age: Origins players who find Gilmore's default teeth distracting during conversations and want a quick visual fix. Also for completionists who want to polish every companion's appearance. Skip if you're looking for gameplay overhauls or if you never recruit Gilmore.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Place the file in your Dragon Age: Origins override folder (Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/packages/core/override) to ensure it loads correctly.
  • If you use other Gilmore mods, check load order—this morph might conflict with other appearance changes.
  • Test in a conversation with Gilmore to see the teeth fix in action before continuing your playthrough.
