Pendant of the Tal-Vashoth

Description

If you take Sten on a certain side-quest to a Qunari-related location, he never really comments on it, which always felt like a missed opportunity. This mod adds a small, fitting amulet with stats appropriate (but not overpowered) for Sten at that location. It's nothing grand, but it adds a little extra weight, and something for players to notice.

If you're curious about its stats and location, here you go (obvious spoilers!):

The pendant is dropped by one of the Qunari Mercenary elites in the Kadan-Fe Hideout, which is accessible in the second stage of The Trial of Crows quest.

The stats are:

+3 strength

+1. 5 mana/stamina regeneration in combat

+10 mental resistance

+10 physical resistance

Restriction: Sten

Since this area is missable, I have uploaded an alternative version that places the pendant somewhere you can't miss:

The pendant is dropped by the first Qunari mercenary that attacks you in the Leliana assassination attempt random encounter. I think that if you kill their leader, the other enemies may de-spawn, but I'm not sure. In any case, be sure to kill that Qunari mercenary before killing the leader.

Installation

Drop the files into your override folder.

Compatibility

Should be compatible with anything. Currently, only English localization is supported.
