📋 About This Mod
Details ======================= Name: Lancerlot - Party Command: Unlock Version: 1. 0 Date: 6th Feb 2010 Author: Mick Hawkins Email: admin@nwn2db.com Description ======================= One thing that has always annoyed me about DA is that you need to physically take control of your rogue every time you want to unlock a chest or door, and then switch back to your main character after the task is complete. With this mod, when your currently controlled character attempts to open a locked object and fails, it will instruct any party member who has sufficient skill to unlock the object for you - without the need to take control of that character. This mod does not give your characters abilities they do not already have; it simply removes the step of having to change controlled characters to open a locked object. If you have a party member who can open the object, they will run up and unlock it for you. If there is nobody in your party that has sufficient unlock skill, you will see the floaty text \"Cannot Unlock\". Install & Uninstall ======================= See the included readme file for installation instructions. Compatibility ======================= This mod overwrites the EVENT_TYPE_UNLOCK_FAILED event, but passes event handling back to the default handler. Any mods that overwrite this event may cause conflicts. Reserved Talk Table ID\'s: 1841059610 to 1841059620

💡 Beginner Tips
- Since the mod is from 2010, check if you're using the latest Dragon Age: Origins patch (1.05) and consider using the DAO Mod Manager for safe installation.
- Test the mod early in the game to ensure it works with your current party composition and lockpicking skills.
- If you encounter issues, try placing the mod file in the 'override' folder rather than using a mod manager.
