According to Dragon Age Lore, Dust Town was once the site of Orzammar’s old palaces - halls of majesty and power which was abandoned after a while. But in the Vanilla game, this grandeur lay buried beneath flat, gray Textures. With Forgotten Gold, we restore Dust Town to its rightful Legacy. Every wall, every Door, every Stone has been reforged to reflect the forgotten splendor of Orzammar’s past - weathered, Majestic, and true to the Lore ( •̀ ω •́ )❤

Dust Town may only have a handful of textures in the Vanilla game, but we wanted to make every single one of them meaningful. That’s why we created different phases of the doors - from abandoned beginnings to scarred survivors and decayed relics...

Forgotten Gold – The Three Phases of a Door

Version 1 – The Abandoned Beginning: A once-majestic dwarven door, framed in dark stone, adorned with golden ornaments and turquoise shimmer. Though forgotten and left behind, it still carries the dignity of Orzammar’s craftsmanship.

Version 2 – The Scarred Survivor: The same door, now bearing cracks, dents, and broken ornaments. Impact marks tell of desperate attempts to force it open. Its beauty is wounded, yet its spirit remains unbroken.

Version 3 – The Decayed Relic Time: has taken its toll. The door is half-collapsed, its symbols eroded and barely readable. What was once a proud emblem of dwarven legacy now whispers only fragments of memory.
