 Origin Rings

General Information

This mod adds a set of six rings, one for each origin, meant to be items that your character has with them at the start of the game. I have tried to be lore-friendly, but have also been unafraid to add new bits of story that fill in some of the blanks. Some of the lore (such as mentioning Warden-Commander Polara) are pretty deep cuts. I have done the best research I have been able, so hopefully I don’t have any contradictory information here.

These rings are each meant to be powerful, but hopefully not gamebreaking. I set out to make them a little bit more powerful than items like Andruil's Blessing, The Spellward, or Lifegiver, all of which are very strong.

Because I lack the knowledge and confidence to slip these into the game in a more seamless manner, and because even if I did, this is the way that eliminates the possibility of any conflicts, these are attained via console command, listed below:

I cannot foresee any issues such as compatibility, etcetera. There is always a possibility I misspelled something somewhere, either in descriptions or in the scripts, so please let me know if something isn’t working.

Installation

Open the .rar file and then drag and drop the "Origin Rings" folder into the "Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\Packages\Core\Override" folder. To uninstall, just delete the "Origin Rings" folder.
