Nathaniel Romance Scenes for Awakening

Some of the most meaningful friendships I have formed in my time in the Dragon Age fandom haven been with Nathaniel Howe Romancers, who I have known to be extraordinarily kind, compassionate and supportive - this is for you.

Installation

To install this mod, download the file and extract it into your usual override folder:

Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override

This mod should not conflict with any other mods.

Mechanics - Nathaniel's Raven

This mod functions by placing a little interactive raven in several Awakening locations. When you click on the raven, he will offer you dialogue choices that will trigger repeatable cutscenes. Any cutscene with more body contact than a hug is tagged as . Any cutscene that goes beyond a kiss and/or involves nudity is tagged as . That way you can trigger the cutscenes at your own pace, increase the intimacy level when you're ready or avoid certain scenes at all if you're roleplaying an ace relationship.

Where does the Raven appear?

A script will fire and place the raven in four areas when you enter them for the first time:

Vigil's Keep Throne Room

The raven will appear in Nathaniel's corner of the Throne Room.

Vigil's Keep Exterior

Outside the gate that leads to the Throne Room, next to the statue of Andraste. As the Keep gets updated and the map changes, different cutscenes will be available so check back in with the raven if you notice the area has changed.

Turnoble Estate

Right where you first enter the Turnoble Estate, between a fence and a big tree. I encourage you to dispose of all hostiles before you talk to the raven or you will have unwanted participants in your romantic cutscenes. After this map is unlocked, you can also ask the raven in the Throne Room to teleport you directly to the Estate, right next to the raven on the farm. To avoid triggering any random encounters on your way back to Vigil's Keep, you can ask the raven to travel back safely.

Forlorn Cove

Right when you enter the Forlorn Cove area, the raven will be waiting for you on the bridge. Finish yor quests and dispose of all hostiles before you trigger any cutscenes or you will be rudely interrupted by talks of ransom and murder. You can teleport to this location directly from Throne Room by talking to the raven there and you can teleport back by talking to the raven on the bridge.
