Mahariel's Heirloom

New 3/19/2020 - I couldn't sleep so I figured out basic scripting. Now you can get the necklace after the origin.

This mod introduces a new item, Mahariel's Heirloom, to replace the Heirloom Necklace that Mahariel's mother left for them. It's significantly more powerful, so that you can use it throughout the game, but also restricted to the player. The original Heirloom Necklace can still be acquired in the City Elf origin, which is what inspired this mod in the first place, or rather why I didn't just modify the original item. It doesn't make any sense for Mahariel's necklace to be in the Arl of Denerim's estate. Only Mahariel can get this necklace, and only by persuading Ashalle to tell them about their parents. It's found in the same chest as the original necklace.

The stats of Mahariel's Heirloom are:

• []+1 to all attributes

  []+2 dexterity (for a total of +3 dexterity)

  []+10% spirit resistance

  []+10% nature resistance

  []and a restriction to the player

  Important Note

  If you're updating to Version 1. 1 or 1. 2, you can install the new version after you've already gotten the necklace. Version 1. 1 is just a cosmetic update, so the already existing item will update in your inventory, and Version 1. 2 just adds the script file.
