Legitimate Random Mods

Description

This is a collection of random mods that I made for a friend's playthrough.

Elven Blade Replacer

Replaces the Dar'misaan, Spellweaver, and the Green Blade default appearance with the appearance of Fadeshear from DA2. It also edits the Green Blade to have identical stats to the longsword version of Starfang.

Griffon's Helm Tweak

Gives the Griffon's Helm the same stats as the Helm of Honnleath while retaining Silverite quality.

Memory Band Tweak

Adds +Attack, +Cunning, and +Damage to the Memory Band. This was made to make the beginning of the game a little less miserable for two-handed warriors, and to give anyone enough cunning to unlock the cunning-specific dialogue choices.

Summer Sword Tweak

Gives some of the stats of Vigilance to the Summer Sword but retains Silverite quality. The idea is to make this a good greatsword you can use into Awakening until you actually get Vigilance.

Kite Shields Metal to Wood

Changes the metal kite shields from the base game to use the wooden kite shield model. The wooden kite shield model is thicker which is the reason for the change. It also updates the Shield of Highever to be Dragonbone, have no attribute requirements, and has the same stats as the Fade Wall shield (besides the +% healing received, which is a broken stat in DAO. I instead just left the +4 to attack). Loghain's shield upgraded to Dragonbone as well with no other changes.

Soldier Helm Replacer

This changes the Soldier Helm to a medium armor helmet with the same model as the Dwarven Helm. This was done as a matter of personal taste so that most of guard NPCs would use this helmet instead of the soldier one. The helm can still be found randomly, so be aware that if you use this mod the armor rating for the Soldier's Helm is slightly lower due to it being medium armor now.

Dagger Replacer

Replaces all daggers besides the Darkspawn dagger to have the basic dagger appearance. No more mismatched daggers!

Dalish Bow Replacer

Replaces the Dalish style bows with the normal longbow model. This includes the unique bows Falon'din's Reach and Wolf-Killer.
