Gizmodian Faceworks

Name: Gizmodian Faceworks Author: Gizmodian & Luchaire Date: 19 January 2010 OVERVIEW This package is an assortment of resource files. You will find a number of new face textures and tattoos here. With these, hundreds of new face creations are possible - see the image section for some samples. All of these were painted by the talented hand of Gizmodian. These are all for males and females. Because of the way that the in-game character creator works, these cannot be used with it and will require using the toolset to apply these textures to head morphs. I\'m not going to write a tutorial on how to do this - such tutorials are already available elsewhere, I\'m sure. This is the first of what I hope will be a series of packages. Installation Extract the archive to your Dragon Age Override folder. The textures/tattoos will then be available for use in the toolset. Known Issues The normal maps are not very good on the scars. I did the best I could with them, but I find DAO\'s normal maps harder to work with than other games I\'m used to modding. I hope to release improved versions of these at some point. Usage Restrictions This is a resource. You can use these in your game to your heart\'s content. However, if you want to re-release any of these, perhaps as part of another mod, you must contact Gizmodian, as all the artwork is her creation. She considers these pretty much open source, but just wants to know where her work is being used.
