Formari Elixirs is a modular, lore-friendly overhaul of Dragon Age: Origins’ consumables. All poultices have been reworked into healing draughts, and every potion type—lyrium, stamina, and grounding—has new icons and descriptions designed for consistency with Thedas’ lore. Quest text and recipes have been updated for better integration, and optional variants let you customise visuals and writing to your taste.

⚗️ Potions instead of poultices – All “Health Poultices” are now “Healing Draughts,” updated consistently across items, quests, and descriptions

✨ New icons – High-resolution icons for healing, stamina, lyrium, and grounding potions, with optional colour variations

📜 New descriptions – Lore-friendly text for every potion to replace the generic text originally repeated across tiers per potion type. Optional

✔️ Clearer potion recipes – New potion recipe icons with better tier/type readability. Optional tweak changes the required Herbalism levels for crafting low-tier stamina draughts

⭕ World integration – Fixes and additions for poultice-related quests and texts in Origins, Awakening, and Witch Hunt, including a unique craftable item for Miriam’s quest in Lothering

☠️ Darkspawn overhaul – In Darkspawn Chronicles, poultices are replaced with unique "stimulants" that have their own icons and descriptions

🌀 Extras – New icons and descriptions for Awakening’s Fade potions, new stamina recipe description (there wasn't one), and optional matching tactics screen icons

Installation

1️⃣ Download the mod archive, open it with 7zip and place Formari Elixirs folder inside your Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override folder (the usual)

2️⃣ Open Formari Elixirs folder and look through Potions, Fade Potions and Recipes folders to pick the colours you want, e.g. if you want to use Emerald healing options, append a z to the start of the folder's name to make sure it loads last. You can also simply delete the folders with colo
