Extra Tactics

Anakin55 has created a new tactics mod. It incorporates all the things i had added plus a LOT more, AND it does it cleanly. This mod (Extra Tactics) is no longer needed and so will stop being updated. Go check out Advanced Tactics here http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=181 There are a number of tactics commands in the AI_TacticsConditions.xml that are unavailable for the player by default, so i activated them. I\'ve used these for a number of hours with no noticeable side effects but seeing as they were turned off by the devs i have to assume they are potentially problematic. Use at your own risk. ****************************** Things enabled; Ally - Status dead Enemy - Nearest visible race Self - Target at range Self/Enemy - X enemies alive Self/Enemy - X enemies dead Self/Enemy - X allies alive Self/Enemy - X allies 50% injured Self/Enemy - X allies have curable effects Ally - Target using attack type Enemy - Surrounded by enemies (Good for melee aoe as is used in the Scrapper preset for firing Dual-Weapon Sweep) NOTE \"Enemy - Surrounded by enemies\" commands only seem to work for non targetted effects. Using it with targetted ones will cause the character to freeze until the battle is over as they try and use the effect on themself. Enemy - Status petrified (added in version 0. 5) Ally/Enemy - X Allies have less than 50% stamina mana (added in 0. 6) IMPORTANT NOTE This command is experimental but seems to work OK. If you wish to use \"Mass Rejuvination\" you need to use \"Enemy: At least X allies <50% stamina/mana\". ****************************** INSTALLATION: Unizip Extra_Tactics.zip -place the contents of the zip in your game installation\'s override folder eg: Program Files/Dragon Age/Packages/Core/Override or; My Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/packages/core/override Now open daupdater.exe (found in your Dragon Age install directory inside the \"bin_ship\" folder) Click the \"Select DAZIPs\" button then locate and open the \"Extra_Tactics_Text.dazip\" file that you just placed into the override folder Highlight the file that is now shown in DAupdater and click the \"Install Selected\" button The progress bar may stall just short of the end (it does for me) but the log should show that it installed correctly ***************************** REMOVAL: Delete the files from your override folder.
