Diverse NPCs

Update: July 19, 2014 - version 0. 2 - 109 morphs. Leliana, Nesiara, Eleanor Cousland and Cyrion have been edited; Shianni, who was erroneously omitted from version 0. 1, has been included, plus 25 new characters.

1. Description This mod consists of 109 edited NPC morphs, focusing on major characters, companions, and families of the Warden. The goal is to provide a little additional racial and ethnic diversity to the game without rendering major characters unrecognizable and while requiring a minimum of custom content. Changes to characters' facial structure are fairly minor for the most part.

A full list of included morphs can be seen in the readme, but be aware that it includes a few spoilers if you haven't gotten to the Landsmeet yet.

2. Installation Simply unzip the file to your override folder. It's a . 7z file - you'll need 7zip to open it. If you're using other morphs for the same characters, you'll need to delete duplicates to avoid conflicts. To remove the mod, simply delete the files. It's also possible to delete only some of the files if you find you like some of the new morphs but not others. Please refer to the readme included in the download to see where each morph is located.

3. Future Plans

• []More edited morphs. Eventually, if the file size grows pasts 2 MB, I plan to make multiple versions available, one of which will still be small enough for nonmembers to download. []Edited morphs for DLC characters. This is more difficult since BioWare has not released the .mrh files for these characters, but I would at least like to edit companions from Awakening.
• A version including user-created hairstyles.

4. Requirements This mod requires Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors for most of the characters' skin tones and a few eye and hair colors.

5. Known Issues Some of the cutscenes are prerendered, and characters will have their vanilla appearance in those scenes. This affects all character appearance mods but it's especially noticeable with this one since it changes many characters in obvious ways.
