This gear was designed to help your warrior be a tank. It contains bonuses to strength, constitution, defence, and has a set bonus.

Install directions:

Please delete version 1. 0 first before installing version 3. 0 if you have previously installed it (see uninstall instructions below).

1. Launch the Dragon Age: Origins Updater, located in 'C:\\\\Program Files\\\\Dragon Age\\\\bin_ship\\\\daupdater.exe'. Search for where you downloaded the files to, select the mod "g71_defbastion.dazip" and click Install.

2. Launch game, go to Downloadable Content, Go to the 3rd tab, should be 'Installed Mods' or something similar, and make sure the newly-placed mod is in there and CHECKED.

3. Load your game, You will find the trainee set around Ostagar and the Korcari Wilds. The veteran set can be found in the starting area of all major cities (Redcliffe/Orzammar/Dalish/Circle/Denerim).

Un-install directions:

Delete the following directory:

my documents\\\\bioware\\\\dragon age\\\\addins\\\\g71_defbastion

If you do not wish to collect the gear ingame as I had intended, follow the steps below (PC version):

If you run the game like such:

1) Make a shortcut to: C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\daorigins.exe

2) Modify the shortcut to include this on the end: -enabledeveloperconsole

therefore your shortcut might look like:

"C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship\\daorigins.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole

3) For the trainee set, in-game press ~ (the TILDE button ) and type:
