- DarkSpawn is retexture mod which visual remakes how these vile Creatures look in game. Bioware darkspawn/s are interesting and well developed concept but their bizarre finish let\'s them down. To put it simply they are not as scary as they should be thus this visual overhaul. Darkspawn as their name and game story implies are supposed to be very scary - creatures which actively pray on human flesh and mine are exactly like that. With these dark / toothy monsters and their luminous eyes in place flickering darkness of Dwarven Deep Roads will certainly not be same ever again - especially not now with their latest \"good\"-looks update.
- To install you will have to navigate to your BioWare game folder in your documents. (\\BioWare\\Dragon Age) and paste / drag n drop my packages mod folder there. Allow overwrite.
- If you don\'t like this new look simply, delete / remove my Darkspawn files folder in BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\\textures\\medium (their weapons are in weapons folder) and original look will be restored to your game.
- Bugs/conflicts: none known to me but know that you can have only one set of these files in your override folder. This regardless of packaging / folders.
- Note on Extras: as darkspawn eyes are used by few human characters - replacement head morphs for them are supplied. Standard set is for game without my Medieval / DAO Faces mods while Medieval one is for all which use them. Install only one you need.
- Note on v2. 0: Major (Technical Fix - Textures) update - must have for all (led / lcd / tft...) digital monitors users! All brand new textures with correct Colour Profiles! I\'ve had them all looking like this since the beginning but unfortunately, you were getting instead something else (colour / gamma) flawed. Sorry for that but lay blame on crap technology rather then me as culprit was my faulty (monitor colour profile) screen calibration tool. All Darkspawn short of their Big-Mama (Brood-mother is already as slimy n ugly as she can possibly be) have been colour-fixed and improved and their updated weapons are now part of this package. These - now quite nice - weapons you\'ll find here as well as in my new Dalls_Gear - Weapons mod. As they both go into same folder and are same - possible file overwrite (if you install both) makes no practical difference.
