Concept Art Faces

General Information

Concept Art Faces (CAF) allows you to use faces that are based on the Dragon Age concept art. They can be used for your own character or an NPC such as companions. CAF also comes with custom faces that are not based on concept art but may be useful for someone. This is an early release so the number of faces are limited at this time. Over time some of these faces may be improved, see release notes for any changes.

Requirements

CAF requires the following mods to be installed:

Installation

Installation is rather simple, follow these steps and everything should work as expected. If you have issues, please make sure you understand and follow the steps. NOTE: If you use different versions of the mods than listed in the requirements section, please use the Custom Install option. Only required for presets. QUICK INSTALL:

• [] Extract the content of the downloaded rar file. [] Copy the folder CAF to your Override folder. By default the folder is at: \'My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\'. [] Remove any existing \'chargenmorphcfg.xml\' file from your Override folder. [] Done!

NPC INSTALL:

• [] Extract the content of the downloaded rar file. [] Copy the folder CAF NPCs to your Override folder. By default the folder is at: \'My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\'. [] Done!

PRESET INSTALL:

• [] Extract the content of the downloaded rar file. [] Copy the folder CAF Presets to your Override folder. By default the folder is at: \'My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\'. [] Remove any existing \'chargenmorphcfg.xml\' file from your Override folder. [] Copy the file \'chargenmorphcfg.xml\' found in the downloaded rar file to your Override folder. [] Done!

CUSTOM INSTALL:

• [] Extract the content of the downloaded rar file. [] Copy the folder CAF Presets to your Override folder. By default the folder is at: \'My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\'. [] Open the \'chargenmorphcfg.xml\' file found in your Override folder in a text editor. [] If you want to add the \'hf_caf_morrigan.mop\' preset to your game. Add the following within the in tag: [] Repeat the step 4 for each MOP file you want to add. [] Save the changes you made to the \'chargenmorphcfg.xml\' file.
• Done!

Prefixes for the MOP files: ef_ = elf female em_ = elf male hf_ = human female hm_ = human male df_ = dwarf female dm_ = dwarf male

Uninstallation

If you want to remove CAF then you simply delete the CAF folder in your Override folder. If you installed using the Custom Install opt
