This project, the Improved Romance Scenes and Fixes – Alistair (IRS), is a mod that makes numerous changes to the Alistair

romance and game play in general. Some of these changes correct broken or incorrect triggers present in the original

version of the game. Other changes are designed to enhance the Warden’s relationship with Alistair by adding new ways

to romantically interact with him. A few other changes affect smaller aspects in the game, without changing the tone or

going out of character.

Installation:

Dazip- Use either the default DA updater or whatever you use to install DAzips.

DAO Modmanager Override- Open DAO modmanager and drag IRS file into "overrides"

Uninstallation:

Dazip- Go to Documents/Bioware/Dragonage/Addins and delete the folder mes_irs_a

DAO Modmanger Override- Right click uninstall

1) A great number of lines were corrected to no longer refer to Alistair as king if he was not made king at the Landsmeet. These occur in numerous places among numerous NPCs.

2) Anora will now correctly give the rallying speech if Alistair is not king.

3) During Alistair’s jealousy speech about Zevran/Leliana, the kiss now works correctly.

4) The broken kiss before tent scenes has now been fixed. (Credit to tmp7704 for the elf and dwarf versions.)

Restored/Changed/Added Interactions and Scenes:

1) In Ostagar, several dialogues have been restored or added.

2) When the Warden enters Redcliffe with Alistair in the party, a dialogue line has been corrected to appear. An

additional line has been added if the Warden is in a romance with Alistair.

3) A kiss has been added when the Warden initiates the First Knight scene.

4) A new First Knight scene has been added for dwarves. (Credit to tmp7704.)

5) The talk after the First Knight scene has been changed to occur more naturally. (Credit to tmp7704.)

6) Additional repeatable tent scenes have been added, along with a brief scene to follow them.

7) Dwarf kiss and sex scenes have been corrected and/or added. (Credit to tmp7704.)

8) The Warden can now hug Alistair. Works for all races. (Credit to DahliaLynn.)

9) Changes to Alistair’s “hardening” trigger after meeting Goldana have been implemented. The original line has replaced

and an additional “hardening” line has been added. Lines 3 and 4 will now “harden” Alistair.

10) An option to knock Alistair out and take the final blow at Fort Drakon if the Warden is in love has been added. Two

short scenes have been added if the Warden and Alistair in love or still in love s
