Version 1: Just an increase in longbow, shortbow and crossbow basic attack speed. (about +14% in DPS) Version 2: Contains all version 1 improvements plus... increased Armor Penetration for shortbows (from 3 to 5) increased Range for shortbows (from 20 to 25) increased Damage for longbows (from 6 to 7) increased Critical Chance for longbows (from 1% to 3%) increased Range for Longbows (from 35 to 42) increased Damage for Crossbows (from 8 to 9) increased Critical Chance for Crossbows (from 2% to 5%) increased Armor penetration for crossbows (from 5 to 6) All values shown are for tier 1 gear, it will proportionally increase as weapon tier increases. Version 3: Aditional to ALL previous changes it makes crossbows damage scale with dexterity. NOTE: in-game it appears \"strength modifier\" but in fact it uses DEX and not STR, couldn\'t find how to change it. STR is still required to carry the crossbows. REQUIREMENTS: ============= NONE, it is a stand-alone mod. INSTALLATION PROCESS: ===================== Extract the file from the RAR file... copy ONE version of my mod into the folder override... C:\\...documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override PERSONAL COMMENTS: ================== This mod was made in order to increase the effectiveness of all types of bows in the game. A slight increase in attack speed at least, and then some improvements to the other stats based on how they should work. This mod does NOT adds nor gives any longbow, shortbow or crossbow, it changes the base stats for them. KNOWN ISSUES: ============= NONE that i\'m aware of, it just overrides the ItemStats file of all bow items, hence it does NOT changes any Archery talent nor any other talent that may work with any bow type weapon. Compatibility is not always guaranteed, any mod that changes talents or animations should work fine. ANY mod that changes the base ItemStat file for longbows, shortbows or crossbows WILL conflict, hence only choose ONE file that changes the BOW item properties. Also ANY custom bow that uses custom item stats and not those from DAO will not be changed by my mod, so far i haven\'t seen this happen. Since this changes base weapons the changes will affect EVERYONE who uses a bow, from warrior to mage, from main PC to NPC, enemies and so on. So careful when engaging large numbers of range enemies since they will also get all the bonuses.
