The missing Ancient Elven Boots restored to your game
In the vanilla game the boots failed to spawn as intended (which was through an event-driven scenario.) The player was left never being able to acquire the complete item-set, and so never able to receive that bonus if desired.
There are two files provided in the ".zip" to add the Ancient Elven Boots in two different ways, depending on where you are in the game.
1. "Vanilla" fix: Adds the Boots to the location where they were supposed to be found. (No spoilers.)
Install it anytime before leaving Lothering (or it'll be too late.)
2. "General" fix: Adds a tome in the player's inventory with the title: "Where are my boots?" Double-click the book, and you have the Boots!
(Use if it's too late for the vanilla one.)
Installation:
Decide which of the two fixes you want to use and extract the appropriate ".dazip" file from the archive.
(Doesn't hurt anything to extract both, but you know what I mean...)
Use BioWare's built-in DAUpdater program, or either of the two manager programs: DAO-ModManager (DAMM), or DAModder (DAM), to install the fix.
Uninstallation:
If installed with DAUpdater, untick the box in the "Installed Content" menu.
If installed with DAMM or DAM, untick the box in the "Installed Content" menu, or follow the instructions for the specific manager used.
