 is my gorgeous, eccentric, enigmatic Dalish Mortalitasi, and my canon playthrough. He's incredibly fashionable for an elf, and loves looking beautiful almost as much as he loves Cullen. Almost.

Tolion was First of his clan for only a year when a silly drunken night with his best friend, Vhaela, left him a father-to-be. To ensure he was as devoted to Vhaela and the babe as he could be, he stepped down as First to prepare himself for fatherhood. Vhaela unfortunately passed during childbirth, but delivered a healthy boy: Lhin. On that day, Tolion swore to his friend that no harm would ever come to their son. And so, 19 years later, in the spirit of ensuring the safety of his son's future, he journeyed to the Conclave...

Tolion is an enigma to most who meet him. He's incredibly charming when he wants to be, and sinisterly cutthroat when he needs to be. Rarely can anyone guess his real age - he claims to have concocted a (carefully guarded secret) herbal face mask that keeps him looking ageless. Leliana can neither confirm nor deny if this is true. He is surprisingly slight in frame: only 5'5" (though he refuses to reveal his weight to anyone). For a Dalish elf, Tolion is fantastically stylish. He adores wearing lavish clothing in colors that compliment his dark complexion and violet eyes, and was right at home among the gussied-up Orlesians of Halamshiral. Upon joining the Inquisition, Tolion fell head-over-heels for its Commander when he first laid eyes on the man. It didn't take him long to flirt his way into Cullen's heart, and the two are now nearly inseparable.
