📋 About This Mod
Two vanilla mashup outfits for HF and EF.
HF: previously released but completely overhauled (especially the weights). Alienage05 npc shirt/vest with Skyhold outerwear pants/boots. Replaces the Antaam-Saar and base Skyhold outfit (no additional mod required). Tintable! Shirt is cloth1, vest is cloth2, pants are leather, clasps are metal, and boots are untintable black. The pants will always dye quite dark -- you're mainly choosing texture options. I also added a cloth2 channel to the base Skyhold tints, so that the vest would show up properly. Austerity (beige) has darkened samite, purity (white) has imperial vestment cotton, and vivacity (blue) has silk.
EF: brand new! a mashup of the Alienage04 npc top, a human peasant shirt, the elven apostate robe skirt, and the dalish boots from the Keeper armor. Replaces the Keeper armor and the base Skyhold outfit. Also tintable! Only has two channels -- the dress is on cloth1, the leather neck/belt/boots are all on the leather tint. Dress uses Solas's sweater textures so retextures of his outfit may cause this one to act strangely. Leather textures have been custom upscaled.
Both outfits include an optional romance necklace version -- the HF outfit has Cullen's romance coin on a chain made from Varric's necklace, the EF dress has Solas's wolf jaw necklace.
Also includes a couple of optional Skyhold tint files that can be used with any Skyhold replacer mod. To use them, load them at a higher priority in Frosty than the main mod.
"Noble" tint palette leans towards rich colors. Austerity (default beige) is now green/teal themed with everknit wool (cloth1), ring velvet (cloth2), snowfleur (leather), and stormheart (metal). Purity is orange/red themed with dragon webbing (cloth1), highever weave (cloth2), hardened tusket (leather), and drakestone (metal). Vivacity remains blue with silken nether cloth (cloth1), silk brocade (cloth2), ram (leather), and blue vitriol (metal).
"Dalish" tint palette leans towards earth tones. Austerity (default beige) is now green/brown themed with plush fustian velvet (cloth1), lambswool (cloth2), nugskin (leather), and onyx (metal). Purity (white) is red/brown themed with lustrous cotton (cloth1), velveteen (cloth2), fennec fur (leather), and summer stone (metal). Vivacity (blue) is white/grey-blue themed with avvar cotton (cloth1), samite (cloth2), ram (leather), and iron (metal).
Sunlit Seas is a two-woman modding team that has primarily worked on FFXIV mods, and returned to their decade-long obsession with Dragon Age
after Veilguard. fbproject/texture files included because we believe that modding should be collaborative. if you want to edit anything -- textures, the mesh, port to other genders/races, take it apart to learn how it works -- do it! no permission needed. if you upload to the nexus, please credit us, but otherwise go wild.
A compact clothing mod that adds two vanilla mashup Skyhold outfits, one for HF and one for EF. With 74 endorsements and over 3,200 downloads, it's a niche pick for players wanting a quick visual tweak without new assets.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Lightweight and safe—uses only vanilla assets, so no conflicts with other mods.
- Decent community traction (74 endorsements, 3,200+ downloads) for a small cosmetic mod.
- Recent update (March 2025) means it's likely compatible with current game patches.
⚠️ Cons
- Only two outfits total—one per body type—so variety is extremely limited.
- No screenshots or detailed previews in the description, so you're flying blind on the look.
- Author hasn't provided install instructions or compatibility notes, so you're on your own.
For Dragon Age players who want a subtle, lore-friendly outfit swap for their Skyhold scenes without installing big overhauls. Skip if you're looking for flashy new designs or gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic and minimal.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a vanilla mashup, it should work with the Frosty Mod Manager—just drop the file in and enable it.
- Check the in-game appearance of the outfits in the character creator or wardrobe before committing to a playthrough.
- If you're using other clothing mods, load this one last to ensure the mashup overrides correctly.
