Prowler Coats and 'The Skin that Strikes' Schematics made for Archers

Antaam-Saar is the only armor schematics I've seen in the game, that is adapted for Archers. That is to say, with no Defense slot.

Archers are relatively remote from the action and they have active and passive defensive means: Leaping Shot, the 'compulsory' Guard, the Asleep ability, running away, Flask of Frost for Tempest rogues and maybe Stealth and Easy to Miss, then they can count on team members for: Barrier, taunting, freezing, paralyzing or panicking the enemy...

So, an armor made specifically for archers should have Utility slots only.

This mod changes a few values to make the Tier 3 Prowler Coat, Sturdy Prowler Coat and Superior Prowler Coat Schematics, adapted for Archers with Utility slots only, and with unchanged numbers for the rest.

That leaves the Prowler Mail and the Prowler Armor for the Dual-Dagger Rogues. Isn't it fair enough?

Then, with Trespasser, you get 'The Skin that Strikes' (23/12-8-10) but as with quite a few other supposedly better items, that armor schematics is overall worse than the Superior Prowler Armor with its Arms and Legs (21/18-4-16), that is a minus 6 units.

So, this mod also makes 'The Skin that Strikes' a kind of Superior Prowler Armor with 23 Armor slots instead of 21 (23/13-12-13) (for the same 38 units but extended in three slots), as progress deserves.

For the four armors, two slots are now Utility Leather and the third is Utility Cloth.

This mod simply does what should have been done originally; to set a few armors with Utility slots only instead of the overbearing Defense, Defense, ... and Defense slots, that were not leaving a chance for Archer to truly be themselves (snif!).

Rem: Superior Prowler Armor, Mail and Coat schematics are very difficult to come by because of the indefensible choice made by Bioware to display, in the Canyon Shop, just ONE item at a time, of a substantial list chosen randomly when you enter the Hissing Wastes.

So, you need the Inquisition Perk 'The Short List' to access these items but the system itself makes it almost impossible for you to ever come across the ones you want to buy in that shop.

That is why I strongly recommend Schematic Spree (and taking the Short List Perk).

Installation

Trespasser is needed.

The mod has been made with the Frosty Editor. You can download the mod manager there: Frosty Mod Manager and Editor

For those who don't know yet, the Frosty Mod Manager converts the .daimod files into a format it can manage so that simplifies things to use exclusively that mod manager.

But not all Daimod mods are properly converted by the Frosty mod manager, though.
