Josephine's Evening Dress

So this mod was made because the modding gremlins inside my head saw this BEAUTIFUL 1902 Evening Dress by @wikivictorian on Twitter being reposted by some lovely moots, including my dear friend CARMIBALISM, along with this BEAUTIFUL art piece by @Kaktus_mint (which I used as a reference for the different outfit versions) just inspired me to create this mod!

What exactly did you change?

I love sharing my workflow, so, yes, I'm doing this :D

Hidding this under a spoiler tag because I don't want it to take up so much space.

Alrighty, so, the gremlins in my mind just took hold and I pretty much automatically remembered that Sifix, a retired Sims modder, made this wonderful dress called Altaira Gown which had a very similiar silhouette I was going for.

Thankfully, Sifix's generous TOU allows any of their mods to be edited and used however we'd like, so for that, thank you, Sifix!

I extracted the mesh and got to work fitting it to the DAI HF body, fixing issues on the mesh that appeared while editing and weighting it. BIG thank you to MorningAngel for the help on fixing some mesh issues I was having! I also decided in this moment to gives her shoes and a bit of leg since I remembered that, during a part of her romance, she brings her leg up while smooching Inky.

When the mesh was satisfactory to me, I edited the diffuse, normal and smoothness textures to get the colour and textures that I wanted.

Once that first pass was good in game, I copied the whole mesh, in sections, which was going to be the layer which the lace/fishnet would lay on.

Once I was satisfied with that result. I was pretty much done with V1!

For V2, I added accessories similar to the version of Josie from the top left of Kaktus_mint's art. Thankfully, this didn't take too long!

V3 and V4 had to have an overhaul in the UV layout since I had to draw the lace pattern for specific areas of the dress. Just the dress with no accessories became V3 and the extra earrings and Josie's OG livery collar became V4!

The lace took me at least 2 days to fix and draw similar to the picture by wikivictorian, but I love how it came out! I even snuck in the Inquisition logo, so keep an eye out
