This is a cheat. Obviously.
Amulets of Power no longer self-destruct on equip. Meaning you can remove them and re-equip for more ability points.
IMPORTANT! READ THIS!
There are some conditions for use of the Amulets of Power to keep their uses infinite. They MUST be followed otherwise the amulet WILL BE LOST.
1. Amulets of Power MUST be removed BEFORE exiting the inventory menu and returning to the game. Otherwise the equiped amulet will disappear.
2. Do NOT equip the amulets on characters while in Haven/Skyhold/BlackEmporium. Otherwise the amulet will be LOST. Go somewhere else on the world map with them in the party and use the amulet there. EXCEPTION: The Inquisitor can equip the amulets anywhere including Haven/Skyhold/BlackEmporium, without loosing them.
I'm guessing its related to how the game handles equipping non-active party members. In these places you have access to everyones equipment, but only the Inquisitor is actually present... Out of party characaters must use a different mechanism to destroy the amulet, one I can't be bothered to chase down.
