Incindia's wedding dress

For frosty or daimod. This is a dress texture and mesh edit I made from a combination of various existing dress textures and meshes that had generous permissions or that I got permission on. Please check the credits to see whose assets I have used! This mod wouldn't exist without them.

Ultra settings are needed for the mesh edit to show! You do not HAVE to download the mesh edit to use the texture if you don't want to, the texture works on the vanilla wedding dress, and any wedding dress mesh edit that doesn't replace the whole thing with something completely different.

The mesh edit is a modified version of Skaramooshes, see credits for links. Please note in both DAIMM and frosty versions the skirt of the dress will move oddly when walking or running, it is the same for the original mod, though that was due to limitations with DAIMM mesh import. In frosty versions we can fix this but I am not so experienced with weight painting so I left it as is (weight painting is what controls how it moves with the body.)

The mesh may have some pointy edges or imperfect areas, the sleeves can clip through the shoulder of the corset at the back. And in some light may have odd shading on the chest and the dress bust. Additionally, the DAIMM version has black marks on the hands and some areas, unfortunately there's nothing I can do about this, it's to do with how the mesh imports to DAIMM. DAIMM version also has a seam down the middle of the chest and the dress, see pictures. Frosty version does not have seams or black marks.

I made this mod long time ago before frosty alpha so don't plan to do all that much about this stuff, I just now ported it to frosty for convenience sake but have changed little about it since I first made it.

The 2 dress meshes (daimod and fbmod versions) may not be perfectly alike due to the limitations of the older mod maker, but have the same overall vibe. I recommend if you want best results though, you try the frosty version.

P.s the mesh edit should technically work with other texture edits not from this mod, but I did edit a very, very small area of the uv mapping for the dress (uv maps tell 2d textures what areas they should be applied to on a 3d model.) So whilst it looks good on my dress texture there's the potential that the textures may look a teeny bit misaligned with the mesh if using it with other dress retextures.

PLEASE NOTE:

if you wish to use the .daimod texture version with trespasser, you must use it with the trespasser version of my modded hair in DLCs mod as it contains a fix for daimod wedding dress retextures crashing in trespasser. if you are using the fbmod version it should work fine in trespasser without the need for that mod.
