El's Blackwall with Graying Temples - Neater or No Beard

I've always hated the weird cheek pieces of Blackwall's beard, so was eager to use one of the mods that neatens up his beard. But I also love Skaramoosh's Graying Temples mod for him! Then I found babyyaga's mod adding Skara's graying temples to Ellise's 4k face texture, but it still had the cheek beard bits, which are actually part of the face texture. So I decided to see if I could remove them myself. This is my first foray into mod making, so no promises of perfection. I also really can't take much credit for this mod, as it's mainly sticking bits of other people's stuff together. But I thought I'd post it in case anyone else is interested, and I'd love any feedback or screenshots you want to share!

Update 28 March 2025

I was looking at beardless complexions for Blackwall and realized there's not one with the graying temples, so I got adventurous! I frankly have very little idea how to make things from scratch, but I've transplanted an edited version of the stubble from El's Cullen face, and kinda made some sideburns so the graying temples end neatly. It's not perfect but I'm quite pleased with it.

• []There is now a Neater Beard version and a No Beard version of El's face with Skara's graying temples.

[]I also refined and updated the existing Neater Beard version, blending the sideburns from the No Beard version into it somewhat and fixing some flaws.

  Other mods needed

This mod is ONLY a face texture with graying temples. You will need special hair mods where the hairline shows the graying temples.

  • []Skaramoosh's ponytail is the original one (the "SK_Blackwall Ponytail and Beard Edit" file)

[]kccodes' made some wonderful new options: More Greying Hairstyles For Blackwall!

    For the Neater Beard version:

I made this specifically to be used with trimmed Blackwall beard meshes that don't have the cheek bits. I have tested with both of these and they work nicely:

    • []The Lone Warden by Alfredia

[]Blackwall Face and Beard by vyrelis and xstephyg (I used this Frosty port of just the beard mesh)

      For the No Beard version:

The following mod is required to hide the beard mesh.

      []Blackwall No Beard by Svarty

[]Beardless by munchyfly would presumably also
