📋 About This Mod
Small tweaks that fix the damage and/or improved its functionality.
I love playing Artificer and especially using Elemental Mines ability. But I have noticed a few problems.
The first upgrade, Throw Everything, not only increases the number of thrown mines, but also seems to massively increase the damage. I look at it, and Throw Everything boosts the damage of each mine from 50% to 175% weapon damage. The ability description does not mention this, so I assume it is a bug. This damage boost, alongside the increasing number of mines, makes this upgrade a clear choice, and it's quite OP.
The first file of this mod removes this damage boost and, as a small compensation, increases the damage of both base ability and Throw Everything upgrade from 50% to 66% weapon damage.
The second upgrade, One-Shot, throws only one mine, but as I play with this upgrade, the mine often completely misses, bounces from the ground away from my target or enemy simply walks over it without triggering it.
The second file of this mod edit the One-Shot upgrade, so now you just throw mine directly at your target, triggering it when it hits. The mine now basically works like any other projectile ability.
You can use both files together, or just use the one you like.
