Crown of the Inquisitor

update 10/11/19: New version of the mod has the meshes adjusted slightly to fit over most vanilla hairstyles and still look natural. Unless your Inquisitor's hair is huge, the crown shouldn't clip too much. If your Inquisitor is bald or has very short hair, the old version may be a better fit. Enjoy! :^)

Crown of the Inquisitor

A mesh replacement of the Inquisitor helm that turns it into the spiky crown of Viscount Dumar from DA2! Because what’s the point in being the leader of a rogue military pseudo-religious faction if you don’t get a crown, right?

Two versions are available, textured and untextured, which you can see in the mod images. Obviously, only install one at a time.

Textured: Black and gold, uses the real textures of the Viscount’s crown.

Untextured: Keeps the textures of the Inquisitor Helm. I left this version because it actually looked surprisingly good, plus this version is tintable with whatever metal, meaning you can make it red with Bloodstone, turquoise, silver, gold, etc.

This is available for all races/sexes/classes.

May clip with bigger hairstyles, nothing I can do about that. I may consider adjusting crown positions in the future if there’s demand for it.

There is one bug I can’t work out right now, which is that the stronger iteration of the Inquisitor helmet will make your Inquisitor bald. Again, I’ll fix that in a future version if I can. For now, just scroll down in the crafting menu for the weaker one, and that will show hairstyles just fine.

As helmets don’t show in Skyhold, sadly it probably won’t show up there without a mod that lets you wear your own armor in Skyhold. If anyone knows of a way to do this in Frosty, please message me!

Installation

Install with the newest Frosty modmanager and you’re pretty much ready to go. As with many Frosty mods, this is literally not possible in DAImod format, so please don’t ask. This will not work with older versions of Frosty.

You'll find your crown in place of the Helm of the Inquisitor, the easiest way being to craft it.
