📋 About This Mod
"... Nothing short of a mortal fiend, they are quintessential black knights, carrying a reputation of the foulest sort..."
Armour as black as the Abyss itself, suited for Inquisitors of all races and genders. Evil alignment not a prerequisite.
Installation: Merge using DAI_ModManager
This texture will automatically override the appearance of Battlemaster Armour and Mail (including Arms and Legs). It will attempt to turn them pitch black regardless of materials used; however, some materials may still affect the tint, although in a darker way. For instance, Bloodstone and Silverite will produce pitch black; Dragon Bone, however, will lend a dark golden hue (can still be overriden by Bloodstone or Silverite Mastercraft material).
If you don't have this armour on your character yet, can use the Cheat Engine Table by olegbl to get it (item path code: DA3/Equipment/Items/Armors/Heavy/equip_armor_heavy_var1_0411c_rare_v2)
Mod is still in development, feedback is welcome.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Gives your Inquisitor a menacing, all-black look that fits a dark playthrough
- Works for every race and gender, so no character is left out
- Decent community support with 112 endorsements and over 1.5k downloads
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2015 — might not work with the latest game patches or DLC
- Only retextures two armor pieces, so it's pretty limited in scope
- No screenshots or install instructions in the description, so you're flying blind
For Dragon Age: Inquisition players who want a darker, more sinister look for their Inquisitor without changing gameplay. If you're a fan of the Battlemaster armor but hate the default colors, this is a quick fix. Skip if you want more variety or updated mods.
