📋 About This Mod

Description
Let's face it, some of the sounds and visuals Bioware used in this game aren't the greatest. Many are obnoxious, intrusive, unfitting or headache-inducing. This collection of mods aims to fix that and make the game a more pleasant experience.

Elusive (Toxic Cloud)

Removes the annoying buzzing sound and purple smoke effect from the 'elusive' stacks that players get from the Toxic Cloud upgrade 'Lost in the Mist,' and from certain masterwork weapons. Currently, elusive stacks do not disappear unless your character gets hit three times. This means that the visual effect and sound will haunt your character when going into different areas, and even in cutscenes. This is likely a bug or unintended feature that Bioware never addressed, and meant that players like myself had to avoid putting a point in Toxic Cloud's amazing upgrade, lest we risk losing our sanity.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find a way to make it so elusive stacks have a cooldown or drop off at the end of combat, so this is the next best thing I could think of. I ain't even mad tho.

Removes all those annoying whispers you hear when your character is stealthed. I'm not schizophrenic. I'm a rogue.

Aura of Pain and

Blessed Blades

Removes the persistent "ringing" when either ability is active. Unfortunately, bpth abilities share the same masterfile, so by removing the sound from one, the other was affected as well. This means they cannot be uploaded as individual mods.

Exalted Plains In my game, the Exalted Plains has no music. Instead, there's a horrible humming sound that plays over and over on a loop. This sound is considered part of the main game audio, so muting music has no effect. I've heard that others have this issue as well. While this mod silences that dreadful noise, I'm afraid it doesn't fix the fact that the Exalted Plains still suck butt.

Search

Removes both the pinging and the discovery sound when using this ability. Unfortunately, it appears that both sounds are linked, so removing one also removes the other.
