Lucanis Redecorates

Lucanis opens the pantry door, very ready to flop down on his cot and relax his overtired body. He starts in surprise. There is a plush Antivan rug upon the floor, and at the far end where his old cot used to be is a leather couch. The room is easily 5 degrees warmer. His carefully gathered clouds of doom are noticeably gone and he honestly doesn't know how to feel.

"ROOOK" he calls out, knowing she followed him into the kitchen and was making coffee.

".... Um, yea?"

"Something's wrong, bolt the door and come here!". The seriousness in his tone is alarming so she runs and bolts the main door and rushes over to peak around Lucanis into the panty, expecting the worst. Instead he turns to her and says,

"Do you have any idea where these could have come from?" in a mocking tone. She ignores him and runs in, taking off her boots to squish her toes in the rug and then flops down on the couch to test its softness.

"Ahhh Im so glad they finally arrived!"

Instead of what he was going to say about the invasion of privacy and how it removed the gloom he had become used to, he just looks at her for a minute, a smile wide across her face at being able to do this all under his own nose. He finds he's not upset at all because lately that smile is hard to come by.

"Rook.... I said to bar the door."

"Oh..sorry I thought you meant the main hall"

Lucanis gives a smirk and raises an eyebrow as he slides the lock into place on the pantry door.

"Ah, I see" and she starts to slowly undo the buttons of the front of her Crow leathers. "Walking a little too close to the edge again am I?"

Lucanis is slowly sauntering closer to the couch and gruffly replies, "This time I think you know exactly what you're doing"

Bellara hears a giggle followed by a growl from behind the locked door before wringing her hands and escaping out the side door with a flush on her face. 'Not again, what am I, invisible?'
