📋 About This Mod
This mod adds a bench to the party camp. If you sit on it, you'll be able to see several cutscenes with mostly Alistair-centric party banter depending on who is recruited and your relationship status with Alistair.
Alistair Romance: Eavesdropping - Update This mod places a bench in the party camp, inviting you to "Eavesdrop on your Companions." Depending on who is recruited and how far advanced the Alistair Romance is, the benchwill offer a dialogue menu where you can choose party banter cutscenes. This update improves the sound, adjusts the scenes for male Wardens who want to romance Alistair, and adds a few new scenes. In addition, all scenes will be repeatable, instead of triggering just once.
If you have the previous version installed, please uninstall it before getting the new one.To install, download and extract the file and install the dazip with your favouriteModManager or the DA Updater. The bench will be added to your regular partycamp when the camp area loads. This means it won't show up the first time you travel to campand wake up from your first nightmare. You will have to leave camp and return for the bench to appear. If you load a savegame in camp and you don't see the bench, leave the camp for a minute and come back.
This mod does not alter any core game resources so theoretically, there should be no compatibility issues. In an effort to improve sound quality for the ambient banter lines, I've had to edit and reimport soundfiles which means that this mod will only be in English. There will be little to no ambient soundsduring the cutscenes, so don't be alarmed if you don't hear the camp fire crackling.
Please only use this mod if you're intending to romance Alistair. To avoid clipping or obstructed views, have your couple wear medium or light armour, nothing too chunky.
Known issues Eyes - Sometimes, eyes do not close properly - either they're too big, or the upper lid closes too far, making it look like the lid is transparent. I've tried to resolve the second issue by never closing eyes more than 80%.
Floating - Some scenes include crusthooks - where props are attached to hands and are supposed to follow their movements. Some armours don't work well with crusthooks - you might see playing cards floating or the Warden "flying" away in the carry scene - the only remedy is changing your armour.
The scenes available now are: Alistair and the Mabari How smart are Mabari supposed to be? Do you really know wh
