Stronger Ebony and Ivory Sound Effects

REQUIREMENTS

You will need FCH823's TFC Installer for UE3. The installation instructions for this mod are also found on the page for the TFC installer as they are identical for any game which utilizes this program.

What does this mod do?

This mod changes the firing sounds on the following Ebony & Ivory abilities:

- Normal Shot Initial (Single press)

- Normal Shot Repeated (multiple presses)

- Rainstorm

- Inverse Rainstorm

There were also some cosmetic changes made to both Rainstorm moves to compliment the new, punchier sound. The changes visually speed up the firing rate of the attacks while keeping the damage and style gain the same. This is the same approach to balance and visual flare that Definitive Edition took when adjusting these skills.

- Fire rate increased from 6 to 12

- Reduced damage from 10 to 5

- Reduced style points per hit from 12 to 6

- Fire rate increased from 6 to 12

- Reduced damage from 10 to 5

- Reduced style points per hit from 12 to 6

Current Issues:

Due to the way NT created these moves, I've only been able to change the sounds for both Rainstorm moves on hit. Normal shots work as you would expect and they play the new sounds with or without connecting on enemies. Despite my efforts, I was unable to get the sounds to play on whiff for the special moves. I'll continue trying to fix this problem since I've at least found where the issue is located, but I can't say if or when it will be fixed.
