It's based on my ReShade for Dishonored 1 / DE:

Installation instructions

• []Download ReShade[/]

  []Install ReShade ... during installation, when it asks if you have an .ini, point it at my preset: The_Outsider_ReShade_D2.ini[/]

  []Finish install[/]

  []Load up the game[/]

  []Profit![/]

  I'd recommended turning off:

  • []Bloom[/]

    []DOF[/]

    []Lens Flare[/]

    []Motion Blur[/]

    []... but you gotta do you, boo ... these are optional changes I make on my game 🤷[/]

      []Better bloom handling[/]

      []Deeper and cooler[/]

      []Subtle sharpening [/]

      []No more hazy haze in the air[/]

        ... a note on bloom:

        I've changed my mind and there is NO bloom in this reshade. I hate it. I feel like I'm playing Oblivion with everying shimmering and shining everywhere. No thank you. The lighting in this game is an example of trying to go a bit too far stylistically at the expense of playability, "realism", and how lighting and shadows actually works.

        If you'd like to try some bloom settings,

        has decent ones, just not great. If you decide to use them, disable bloom in your in-game settings.

        Disable in-game Bloom <-- Or you'll get double bloom.

          []IF YOU DO want soft, fuzzy bloom ... bump up the Bloom Intensity from . 01 to . 02 ... or go crazy and bump it up to . 03!!! The sky's the limit! Maybe even as high as . 04!?![/]

          []IF YOU DO want both soft, fuzzy bloom AND bloom adaptation, just DISABLE ArchaneBloom.fx in the ReShade settings and enable in-game bloom.[/]
