Daud's Blink for Corvo

Description

Always wanted to be able to have the time freeze of Daud's blink and Corvo's Dishonored 2 Redirective Blink? Well, it's finally here. It took several days but I finally got it pretty much fully working. Uses Dauds sound effects as well.

Caveat: Your first blink in every fresh load or new level will sound like Corvo's, but after that my hook will run and you'll get Daud sound FX for Blink.

The time freeze while aiming works just like Daud's. Even the mid-air freeze, so now you can jump and aim your blink with time frozen, just like Daud!

Installation instructions

Unzip the "Binaries" folder into Dishonored's main folder located in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dishonored.

Compatible with the Missions Stats mod!

The Mission Stats mod uses the same method as this mod, DLL injection, to accomplish it's goals. This DLL we use is dinput8.dll, and since all mods wanting to inject code into the game need to do so through the dinput8.dll it gets messy when more than one uses it.

Luckily, I made this mod to be compatible with Missions Stats.

JUST MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL MISSIONS STATS FIRST, THEN INSTALL THIS MOD OVER IT AND LET IT REPLACE DINPUT8. DLL. My version of dinput8.dll will still look in the NativeMods folder for his mod, but it will also look in the "mods" and "PackagePatches" folder for MY mod. So my dinput8.dll needs to be installed last and let it overwrite the dll file.
