Save Editor

With this tool you can edit (most) of your save game data in Dinkum! It transforms save data from binary to json and back.

THIS MOD IS STANDALONE! You need only Dinkum!

How to use:

• [] On first launch the app will auto-restart (and download bunch of files)

  [] "Decrypt saves' button adds "DecryptedSaves" folder in this app's folder. It will contain all saves in json format.

  []"Re-Pack Saves" will turn json files back to .dat files in "RePackaged" folder

  [] Dropdown is for selecting which save you want to copy to game's folder

  [] "Update Game save" button sends selected dropdown's save from "RePackaged" folder to game's folder.

  • []This tool backups your saves when you decrypt them. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THE APPS backups! Make your own!

    []The flow is decrypting saves to json, modifying them and then repacking them and updating the game's save.

    []This mod gets dlls from Dinkum and uses them (also creates a modified copy of assemby-csharp, doesn't effect original)

    What this mod does not modify/convert to json:

    • []Chests. They might be added later but I didn't bother adding them now because I was lazy :D

      []savefile.dat . This is basically the world's save, containing just tile data. It's pretty much impossible to save this in human readable format, it's a bunch of numbers in a nutshell without any labels.

    Troubleshooting tips:
