More Player House Upgrades

Description

More Player House Upgrades expands Dinkum's housing systems with a larger final player house, more flexible upgrade payments, centralized guest house upgrades, and improved indoor lighting.

Once your player house reaches its normal maximum size, Fletch can offer one additional expansion. The final upgrade increases the interior from 10 by 10 to 14 by 12 by extending the room outward two tiles on every side except the door side.

The expansion costs 650,000 Dinks and requires building materials delivered to Fletch. You can pay immediately or place the cost on the town's tab, then supply the required materials in one trip or across multiple visits.

The mod also extends the town debt system to normal player house and guest house upgrades, adds guest house upgrading directly to Fletch's town dialogue, and keeps supported lamps illuminated indoors regardless of the time of day.

The additional house size is kept separate from Dinkum's own save data and includes a built-in undo system for safe removal.

Main features

A Fourth Player House Size

• Adds one additional upgrade after reaching Dinkum's normal maximum player house stage.

• The existing 10 by 10 interior expands to 14 by 12.

• The room expands two tiles outward on every side except the side containing the entrance.

• The door remains exactly where it was.

• Your indoor spawn position remains unchanged.

• Existing furniture keeps its current position.

• Walls, windows, flooring, and collision boundaries expand to match the new room.

• Fresh floorboards are generated across the newly expanded interior.

• The expansion is completed overnight.

• A notification appears the following morning when construction is finished.

Expansion Cost

The final player house expansion costs: 650,000 Dinks

You can either:

• Pay the full cost immediately.

• Put the cost on the town's tab.

The town can then pay the debt normally through the bank or donation box.

Building Materials

Fletch also requires construction materials for the final expansion.

By default, the upgrade requires 1. 5X the 3rd house upgrade for materials, which is:

  []10 Copper Bars[/]

You can change the required materials through the mod configuration if you want a different construction cost.

House Upgrades on the Town's Tab

Player house and guest house upgrades gain an additional payment option: "Put it on the town's tab"

This appears alongside Dinkum's normal payment option.

• You can use the town tab even if you do not currently have enough Dinks.

• The full upgrade price is added to the town debt.

• The debt can be repaid normally through the bank or donation box.

• By default, Fletch will not add another housing upgrade to the tab while the town already has outstanding debt.

• This restriction can be disabled through configuration.
