This mod gives you full control over how quickly relationship levels increase in Dinkum.

With a simple configuration file, you can decide exactly how much faster friendships grow — from subtle boosts to instant best friends.

• Adjustable Friendship Multiplier

Choose how fast friendship grows: 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x... or as high as you want!

• Optional: Only Boost Visitors

Enable this to keep resident NPCs normal while helping visitors become future villagers faster.

• Works With All Friendship Sources

Talking, completing requests, gossiping, random events — everything that gives relationship points.

• Safe and Compatible

No save edits, no gameplay breaks. Applies only at runtime via Harmony patches.

⚙️ Configuration

After running the game once, the mod creates a config file:

BepInEx/config/DinkumFriendshipBoost.cfg

Inside, you can edit:

FriendshipMultiplier – controls the global multiplier

OnlyBoostVisitors – true/false to affect only visiting NPCs

New config options are automatically added as the mod updates — you never need to delete the file.

📦 Installation

1. Install BepInEx 6

2. Place the mod .dll inside:

Dinkum/BepInEx/plugins/

3. Run the game once to generate the config file

4. Customize the settings to your liking
