Undub Mod (Complete and Customizable)

This mod replaces all Digimon, skill, generation names, and some terminology to the original Japanese equivalents. This mod has four variations, so you can freely customize your experience.

Naming Option #1: Unmodified Names (UN)

These variants use names taken directly from the Digimon Reference Book without any modification.

Naming Option #2: Modified Names (MN)

These variants are the same as the one above, but some specific moves are modified to better reflect the origin of those Digimon and/or fix romanization inconsistencies.

For example, the following Digimon all have inconsistent romanizations of the katakana シャ (sha):Shakomon, Musyamon, Hisyaryumon. For this variant, they were changed to the following for consistency: Shakomon, Mushamon, Hisharyumon.

Skill Option #1: Untranslated Skill Names (US)

All skills that are originally in Japanese are untranslated.

For example, Renamon's skill will be called Koyousetsu.

Skill Option #2: Translated Skill Names (TS)

All skills that are originally in Japanese are translated into English.

For example, Renamon's skill will be called Fox Leaf Arrows.

Some skills are still in Japanese or contain Japanese words for a variety of reasons, such as:

• []The skill being named after a weapon wielded by the Digimon (Shurimon's Kusanagi).

  []The skill is named after a legendary Japanese sword (Yatagaramon, and many others).

• The Japanese portion of the skill is a loanword in a specific field (Gryzmon's Atemi Reversal).

  PLEASE NOTE

  The translated skill names are not all taken from Wikimon. Just because something is there it does not mean it's accurate. For example, for many years the name of Turuiemon's skill on Wikimon was incorrect before being fixed by me.
